So in January 2017, I had a message from a local lady in hednesford/cannock asking to join. Her goal was a common one of wanting to improve fitness and lose weight. Suzanne joined our early morning sessions at 6.30am which are held indoors in Hednesford. She told me that she had previously lost weight using weight watchers so she was going to continue with their programme as well as attend our ladies only fitness bootcamp.

After Suzanne’s initial six week programme she had lost an incredible 16lbs and said that her fitness levels had hugely improved. She decided to continue with bootcamp as it suited her and the results had been good so far. So she continued and has now gone on to achieve over 50 lbs weight loss in 8 months.

She did this while working shifts, going on holidays and missed a couple of weeks of sessions due to picking up an injury. The reason why Suzanne has suceeded where many fail is that she firstly set a goal, secondly she was consistent and thats the big one. Most ladies who start a new fitness programme start to do it and may even start off really well but as soon as they face any resistance either the diet or the training goes out the window.

What Suzanne showed was that it is about balance but also prioritising her fitness and diet. Even though she enjoyed treats on holiday she still aimed to get plenty of exercise in and when she couldn’t train due to her injury, she still continued eating healthily to maintain and still lose weight. There have been days when she couldn’t make it to sessions but these were only on occasions. She has stayed consistent and is now seeing amazing results for it.

We are incredibly proud of Suzanne’s efforts and results and I am sure she will continue to keep improving her fitness and health over the coming months and years.
